Seasons Greetings from the Anna Pell House
We have some big news to share… This past fall, we sold the Anna Pell House. After much soul searching and deliberation, we felt that it was time to pass along the care and tending of this beautiful 150 year old building to new owners and move on to other adventures. This was not an easy decision given that we love the house and met so many wonderful people over the years running the vacation rental. We truly enjoyed welcoming all of you, our many lovely guests, to spend a special vacation in Newport in an historic downtown mini-mansion. Thank you all for making our decade long vacation rental experience so memorable.
May 20201 be a year of health, happiness and prosperity for all.
Built circa 1870 by Anna Pell, the late RI Senator Pell’s great aunt, this Victorian painted lady is filled with original details and is a spectacular example of the Exotic Revival Swiss Chalet style of architecture popular at the time.
